Hello,
This week is a short week. Thursday is our last day before Spring Break. We have our spelling and math test on Thursday, April 2nd. Please let me know if your child will not be here to take the tests and they can take it early.
In Science this week, we are observing a fish as our animal observation to prepare us for the Big Zoo Lesson. The Big Zoo Lesson is getting close (April 20th-24th) please look for the sign up genius if you can volunteer or help in any way.
The students are working hard on sketching the animals we are observing and this will help them when it comes time to sketch their animal at the BZL. The students learned their animal today and are very excited. If you could please look up information over the break about the animal your child has been assigned, this will be very helpful when they write their informational text.
In writing, we are starting the informational text this week. The more information the students know about their animals the easier time they will have completing their assignments.
Have a great Spring Break!
Mrs. Talamonti-Burgee
